Cartier 2000 - Jack Williams is presented to H.M. The Queen - in recognition of his services to polo, in particular to the pony club polo movement in this country - which owes much of it's present day success to Jack's early devotion.
Nick Williams is taking up the position of High Goal Polo Manager of the Santa Maria Polo Club in Sotogrande from 1st May 2002, and he and Ginny will be living year round in Spain. Roddy, their son (6 goals, pictured below left) has become managing director of Inglesham and will continue to run the club along with polo manager, Guy Verdon.

With the absence of any facilities in Norway and after a meeting between Jan Gausen Chairman, Atle Bekken and Hans Underdal of the Norwegian Polo Association and Nick & Roddy Williams of Inglesham, Inglesham Polo Centre has great pleasure in welcoming the N.P.A. to become an associate of I.P.C. and be based there for future training. Some dozen of their members have already attended courses and many exciting games are planned throughout the year with Roddy as their coach.
Inglesham has had a close association with Siam Polo Club over the last four years during their transition from arena to outdoor polo. They have now established a new outdoor ground close to Pattaya with a magnificent clubhouse. This together with stabling for approx. 60 horses has given them a first class facility which now makes them attractive to new members. Nick Williams visited them regularly to give teaching courses and in the spring of 2001 took an Inglesham team over to play and a great time was had by all. Hopefully Siam will be returning this summer to play their annual international match in July.
